A Talk about Walls and Tools

Today I had lunch with a Friend who has for 3yrs been in Beer Sheeva Israel.. I so expected to
hear all about the wonderful tails of her time there and how special It felt to walk where Jesus
walked.. To my dismay she told me all about the bombs coming in and how in their church
they are not happy to see new people because they don't know if its a spy or someone that
is there to harm them.. Its real thing there of people getting punished for not following the
Jewish way of things.. She also said she stood at the tomb of Jesus (the spot people say it is)
and when she was there she heard in her heart, Why do you look for the dead when I am living.
Jesus is Alive!
Now this in writing may sound negative but in person she is a very positive and is very REAL about
her faith and REALLY lives each day in relationship with Jesus! So in as much I could have listen
to talk for hours.. She wanted to know how I am.. Which to be honest right now is not so good..

I feel like I have walls up with people and the tools I need to build my relationships are just not there.
So she spoke to me in word pics I could understand.. That the wall I have built is built brick by brick
and I need to name it each one and slowly take them down.. Day by Day.. I didn't put them up in one
day and they wont come down that way either...

We also talked about the tools! Jesus will give me them one by one and when I learn to use them with
practice I will gain more experience and be able to build..
I feel very good about these and I will begin to expand with these goals..

So I know its Christmas time but for me its building time too!!!
