What I got in the mail

Well I am happy to say that I joined on FB the Dunkin Donuts Perk page to get my FREE medium coffee
and my coupon for it came on SAT... I am so excited to go and get my free Ice coffee! It sure made my
day to receive that.. I also got my free book on Revelations revealed.. Its a short little book and I know
a serious read that I am just not up to starting yet...

We had a very nice PRE-Thanksgiving party at my sister N Laws last night and I even had a pizza slice
to take home for lunch today.. Was a fun night of talking and playing Phase 10..
Not to much talk about holidays other than we are having a big Christmas this year with ALL of the
family going to be together.. Should be lots of fun..

5. Games with Prizes wrapped.. (Last year I had lots of Avon Extras,, This year from my Samples)

10.  The family Photo of craft project... (last year Hats)

Now being this year will be BIGGER than before It should be interesting..
The holidays are always hard for me because my family has always made it
about Church and PRESENTS and his family makes it about EATING and No presents...
But one good thing also have the relationship with Jesus and it makes it a joy to be around them.

My husband always gets sad because of working at a store he sees all the GREED and has
more stress just because of all he sees.. I am just so glad that he LOVES music  and that
always helps him around the holidays..

But you know people have already moved on to Christmas and have just jumped by Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorites because of the family just being together and eating
has always been a thing of comfort for me! So I think with it still 1wk away I will linger with alittle bit
and think of things to be THANKFUL for..

This is a verse my dear Hubby put on our computer screen from some kind of wallpaper...
Little did I know by this time of the month how much I would need to see this each day
as a reminder.. I am going threw the hardest time of my life right now and I can truly say
that I can see how Job felt..

 My Joy- comes from the hope that I have is that I believe in God and he will never leave me or forsake me..

 Patient with myself in this affliction that I am feeling with so many others that are lacking money like I am right now..

Faithful in prayer to the point that many times threw the day I am praying that I will live in his peace and
that I can go without things and that no matter what comes God will be with me even if that means I am
homeless and have no car..

Its amazing to me that in the pain I am in God is giving me NEW joys and HE is my strength when I just
don't have any!!!

Things I am THANKFUL for treasure's of this week:

1. The warmth of Nov.. For the moment...
2. A friend giving us Eggs, Apple Juice, and Toilet paper.
3. Friend telling me her secret recipes for Cinnamon Coffee.. Really cheap and good!
4. A burst of energy to clean out a closet and purge some old clothes..
5. More FREE crafts for Christmas from my boss...
6. A medicine that is working on my foot that has needed some healing.
7. Results on some painful phone calls I didn't want make.
8. A comfort call from a friend who has been in the exact spot I am in right now.
9. Having a REALLY good cry that gave my head some release
10. A card of encouragement from a friend..

I must say I am Thankful for this blog that I know I will look back at someday and
be thankful for how far I have come!

Thankful Thursday

                                                                             


So I sit and watch the yearly Its the great pumpkin with Charlie Brown and Snoopy it  makes me think
of Thanksgiving and being Thankful.. But its strange they are talking more about Pumpkins which means
Halloween.. Which has never really been a good holiday for me. Except for the part of Candy. But
all the pressure of Costumes, scaring people, for me getting egged and shaving cream, and also for
the fact that church before never wanted us to celebrate.. Which makes me glad that the churches
have alternates now and do reach out to the kids.


                                                                         

My focus of Free things last few days have been Calenders. I have looked around my house and it amazes me the calenders I have.. I have the inspirational one in bedroom, Art one in the Music studio, (Brian's Old Room) A Stooges and Kitty calender in the Kitchen, and finally in the living room a small Stooges one that I made for Ron. And yes my favorite two purple calenders...
So now for 2011 I have started my collection  with a Joyce Meyer, Oriental Trading club and now today
I put for my free list one the Eat Better America calender.. So I am off to a good start..

Thinking of Things I am thankful today for:

1. Having heat and shelter from the cold winds.
2. Being able to go onto my Library's site to renew my books.
3. The near end of all the voting commercials
4. Free Calender's
5. The Web where everything is at our finger tips (the good things that is)
6. Friends that share
7.  My Moody Devotional book that I start my day with.. (along with my bible of Course)
8. Work that I can talk and enjoy people from all over country.
9. My Mom that calls me to tell me her joys of the day
10. Having a warm, comfy bed to have sweet dreams in.

Yep that's the list this week and I am stick in to it!

Treasures of Tuesday

This week has been slow with my Free stuff.. But I did receive a sport Tampon sample.. Totally needed that
one. And as far as my change this week its also slow.. None for this week.. But its OK.. Its the joy of the
hunt.

I am SO enjoying the event that started on the 10/21. Kate's Month at the Museum. I just can't get enough!
I go on Face book, twitter, and the museum web site to get up dates! So far there has been 3 videos and
I faithfully check each day to see what is new~ At the end I want to make a list and go to the museum
once again myself.. (Hopefully on a free day if that still exists.)
So far I know that she has had 7 days of fun!
Things I didn't know about the museum but now Will like to visit:

1.The baby chicks
2. The a Huge Hamster Wheel people run on
3. The Tornado Exhibit.
4. Smart Home Exhibit
5. The Hubble
6. The Jim Henderson Exhibit of Muppet's..

I do remember going to the Coal Mine and also the trains.. But I am sure After hours it must be such
a treat and a treasure~


 

Treasures of Tuesday

So I came home today and I found treasures waiting for me in my mail box.. I got two boxes
from Wal-mart today!

 My sample for the Crest toothpaste and the Wisk stain remover.
 The Crest tooth paste will be a great thing to take with for a weekend trip...(maybe Green Lake next
year)  Except I wanted the sample for my dear hubby who has been having gum problems and that
is what it is for.. So I might have to break down and let him have that one.. LOL

I also got my 2011 Calender from Joyce Meyer.. It also being free each year.. I am a calender nut and
I am sad that my two pretty purple calenders that were leather from Borders are now coming to a end.
(And I will not have the money this year to do that again, but they have been my treasures this year.)

I also got my printed out FREE Gift Coupon from CVS for a Hand Sanitizing Spray Pen with sadly that
one will expire this Friday so I will have to be quick and get that one.. I also got in the mail a coupon for
a small bottle of Advil so I will take that to the good old CVS with me.. Oh the joys of FREE!!!

I also have now been treasuring a sweet friend that I walk home from work with. She is amazing with
finding coins on the way home.. She finds Penny's, dimes, and nickles.. So now more that just talking we
are also treasure hunting for coins.. In total last week we found a total  5 Penny's, two nickles and
two dimes.. I plan to start putting them in a jar and see what I have at the end of month..

Thankful For Free Samples

Since now having NO CREDIT Cards to fall back on for thinking I had FREE Money.. (which I have
always known there is NO such thing but foolishly I used them that way)

 I have started a new hobby of getting FREE samples in the mail.. And yes so far they have been FREE NO credit card stuff, and NO complete a offer to get it free. A few of the sites I found of all places You TUBE.. I have really loved that site for learning to crocheting, canvas cross stitch, nail painting ideas, make up ideas, new songs for church, and just when needing a laugh of watching some kitties.. So needless to say I have
been loving You tube.

So with this new passion of mine I will keep you updated on some really cool things...

Thankful Thursday REALLY???

Man have I had the ups and downs this week.. I feel like I have been on a roller coaster and now my
head is spinning and I am sure dizzy.. And Its the experence of  being in a Long line and thinking man
I stood in line 2 hrs for that????

But now being a adult I dont even LIKE the roller coasters and have not been on them for years.
I dont think I could stand in the line for that long because of my knees and because of my weight
I cant fit into the seats comfortably. But that is just another part of growing old that my Aunt told
me never to do! GROW OLD! I remember thinking how in the world am I NOT do that.. LOL

But part of now being older I appreciate some of the things that I thought I NEVER would.
So HERE is the THANKFUL list as being older..

1. Liking to go to sleep...
2. Listening to the news for the weather.
3. Sitting and just listening to music
4. Being able to be still
5. Being under a blaket watching the rain
6. Watching kids play at the park
7. Having some clothes that I have had over 10yrs and they still look good.
8. Taking Sunday afternoon naps
9. Having that favorite lipstick and using it all the way to the end
10. A morning cupt of Coffe that I MADE MYSELF!!

Yep that last one sure makes a difference.. It makes me feel good saving money and also having it the
exact way that I like it.. ( I putting my own sugar and cream as much as I like )
