Thankful Thursday REALLY???

Man have I had the ups and downs this week.. I feel like I have been on a roller coaster and now my
head is spinning and I am sure dizzy.. And Its the experence of  being in a Long line and thinking man
I stood in line 2 hrs for that????

But now being a adult I dont even LIKE the roller coasters and have not been on them for years.
I dont think I could stand in the line for that long because of my knees and because of my weight
I cant fit into the seats comfortably. But that is just another part of growing old that my Aunt told
me never to do! GROW OLD! I remember thinking how in the world am I NOT do that.. LOL

But part of now being older I appreciate some of the things that I thought I NEVER would.
So HERE is the THANKFUL list as being older..

1. Liking to go to sleep...
2. Listening to the news for the weather.
3. Sitting and just listening to music
4. Being able to be still
5. Being under a blaket watching the rain
6. Watching kids play at the park
7. Having some clothes that I have had over 10yrs and they still look good.
8. Taking Sunday afternoon naps
9. Having that favorite lipstick and using it all the way to the end
10. A morning cupt of Coffe that I MADE MYSELF!!

Yep that last one sure makes a difference.. It makes me feel good saving money and also having it the
exact way that I like it.. ( I putting my own sugar and cream as much as I like )
Hope everyone can say that too!!! I MADE it MY WAY~~

I am thankful today that even when in harms way I know that there are Angel;s watching over me.. I had a fall today from tripping on my feet and long pants. I hurt my knees and my pride but other than that It could have been much worse. There have been so many times that I can truly say that I have fallen and could have really been hurt but was speared. And yes some of the time I can truly say that I have felt like someone was keeping me from falling.

I am Thankful today for Friends that also are a reminder of how precious life is and to count the days for the quality  of things in life..
I am so glad that we are meant to share with each other and help.. Thank you Jesus for making us want to have the need the love of others and of YOU..

So as far as my lists go my thankful list Is:
1. Angels
2. Friends
3. Life
4. My Health
5. Being able to think
6. Being able to help Others (even its just a smile or helping hand)
7. Being able to read
8. Being able to write
9. Being able to have freedom to go to work
10. Being able to hear God's still voice..

I am so Thankful for this thing we call LIFE..

Treasures of Tuesday

This is a place in Green Lake I can say I will always Treasure!

We got invited to a retreat this past weekend and we were not going to all week because of our

bad money choices. But God had it in the plans that we were suposed to be there. The

retreat name was: What goes in must come out! That title made a impression on me in more than one

way. But for the most part it really had me think what I am watching media wise. I have been making

some bad choices and didnt really realize how it was harming me and others also.

 So my eyes ARE

opened and today as I sit here alone waiting for the dear hubby to come home late tonight I am not watching

the bad Tv and eating junk that I normally do.. I am listening to worship music and will finishing

two books started and keep working on my christmas projects.. (which I had some help with

but its still a work in progress) But God must have known that too because a lady from work

gave me a full bag of crafts today! Thank you Jesus!

So as far as Treasures from Green Lake this time I can say had some alone time with God.

Some fun time with Ronnie playing in a park feeling as kids.. We did some exploring to places

we never did before and had lots of fun taking pictures. Had lots of good food.. Which

included a dip for carrotts that I will just to have to try making one of my own.  Being with young

people who have allot of engery and like to have fun with games, hunts and catpure the flag.

Had a nice clean and warm cabin which I felt like a kid once again being a bunk bed and

a flash light just like being at camp when I was a kid.. I thought it was also interesting that

they had a wedding in the field where we normally play games.. I hope and pray for many more

years of Green Lake and I hope to one day to renew my wedding vows at that special place that

a friend calls Gods place of worship!

Thankful Thursday

WEll I have missed placed some time somehow.. July, Aug flew bye and now its already the middle of Sept.. Oh Boy! I have thoughts of holidays coming and I have not even started the annual chirstmas Crochet projects..



There has been a request for mittens and my brain just doesnt seem to comprend the way to do this.. I have made up my mind to join a friend
crochet connection group. I am looking forward to spending time with
her and meeting new friends..

So since months have passed by I will now adopt to Thankful Thursday..
I have always been a person who believes to count your blessings and look
for the best in all people. And to also TRY to keep if you dont have something nice to say dont say nothing at all..

So here goes today:
1. Thankful I have a God that loves me no matter what.
2. Thankful for a hubby that I can learn to grow with in all areas.
3. Thankful for family and friends who support me with love.
4. Thankful for having two fun kitties who make me smile.
5. Thankful for having a place to live
6. Thankful for music that gives me peace.
7. Thankful for my Bible and books to help me gain wisdom
8. Thankful for food that gives me strength to do daily things.
9. Thankful for the freedom to go to church and worship.
10.Thankful for freedom of speach that lets me write this blog..

May we all continue to have this freedom and be able to learn and grow
and express our thoughts..
